I am extremely irate and hoping I can find others this has happened to so I might be able to file some sort of suit in court. I am told that they based it off of the claim from the valet that the handle was loose, doesnt matter what I say. I still hear nothing back so I call again today and am told my claim was denied because it was clearly mechanincal failure, how can a snapped off plastic handle be mechanical failure.
Almost two weeks go by and I hear nothing so I call but the claims dept is only open Mon, Weds and Fri from 9 to 2:30 so i leave a message. I submit an estimate to the claims department that very Monday. After getting extremely upset and filing a claim I am told I have to wait until Monday(this was a Friday) to hear something. If it were loose I would never have been able to get out of the car. I go to my car and look at the door handle on the passenger seat and can see that it was clearly snapped off. I have a brand new car so I find this hard to believe. I go to pick up my car at the valet and am told that my inside door handle was loose and that it fell off. After playing for awhile we decided it was time to leave. I parked my car at the valet and went in to the casino with a friend. I have been a long time customer of Hollywood Casino but I will never ever go back again.
